Plato provides support within the context of the module or course a user is working in.
Grounded in course materials
Plato answers questions using teaching materials linked to the relevant module. This keeps support closely aligned to the same content students are already using in lectures, seminars, pages and files.
Content sync and indexing
Plato integrates with virtual learning environments such as Canvas and Blackboard, so module content can be brought in automatically.
This can include files, pages and other published module content that students can already access. Content is indexed automatically on a regular schedule, typically daily, and sync frequency can also be customised on a module-by-module basis when needed.
Only published content is used by Plato, so Plato works from the same material students can already see in the module.
Module context
Plato responds within the context of the selected module, so the experience stays focused on the course a user is working in.
Source visibility
Plato can show the sources used to answer a question. This helps students revisit the original teaching material, check where information came from, and continue studying from the same content used in the response.
More than Q&A
Plato can also support revision by generating practice questions, flashcards and multiple-choice questions. Students can use these materials to reinforce understanding, test recall and receive immediate feedback while revising.
